Chuckie – Together (Original Club Mix)

Awesome new release from DJ Chuckie! I always get excited when I see new material from Chuckie. Everything he produces is pure fire. Whether it is an original track or a remix, he never disappoints. This is “Together” released on Cr2 / Big Beat.

Pretty Lights – We Must Go On

Great new track from Pretty Lights. Sounding like a momentary break from electro/dubstep style, PL brings us back to his old style of classic samples on top of great beats. This kind of track is exactly why I fell in love with the music that he produces. You can watch the official music video or listen to the track right below. Download is available here or you can find it on his website as well. Enjoy!

Thirsty Thursday #35 – XV

XV is one of the biggest up and coming hip-hop artists in the country. Over and over again XV proves that he is worthy of major attention. Although XV is signed to Warner Bros Records, XV is not getting the kind of attention he deserves. Unlike most artists, XV consistently puts out new music. He doesn’t wait for a mixtape or new album to release what he has been working on.

Awesome

XV is from Wichita, Kansas, an unlikely hometown for an extremely talented hip-hop artist.  The name XV comes from the roman numeral for 15 which is when he began his music career. He became serious with his music when a close friend of his died when they were 15, hence XV. The thing that I like the most about XV is the fact that all of his tracks are unique. There are some artists who use the same style beats for all of their songs. But XV draws his samples from all different kinds of places. When I first heard XV, his music immediately stood out to me and it is very clear why. I hope you have the same reaction as well. All of his mixtapes are free. You can find them on his website or go browsing on the few others that help promote XV’s career.
